Tournament Rules

 

1. All games will consist of two 20 minute halves running-time, with the last two minutes of the game being stop time. (Note:  If the lead is more than 20 points, the clock will not stop for the last two minutes of the game.)

2. Teams will receive four (4) 60 second timeouts per game.

3. The 30 second clock will not be used.

4. Halftime will be three minutes.

5. In case of overtime, a two minute running-time period will be played.  If the game is still tied at the end of the first overtime, a second two minute stop time period will be played.  If the game is still tied after the second extra period, then a sudden death period will be played, with the first team to score any type of points to be the winner.  (Note:  In the championship game, there will be as many 2-minute running-time periods as necessary to determine a winner.)

6. A player will be disqualified on the fifth personal foul.

7. A one-and-one bonus situation will begin on the 7th team foul for each half.

8. Teams must be ready to play at the designated times.  We will allow a 5 minute grace period before forfeiting the game.

9. If time permits, warm-up may be available before the start of the game.

10. Teams must wear the same color jerseys and each jersey must have a number.

11. Home teams will be the teams on top of the bracket.  They will wear light colored jerseys.

12. The tournament director will settle any disputes or protests on the spot, and the decision will be final.
