Good Start for the Venom

Phoenix, AZ  - March 2009

Two Venom teams participated in the “Best of the Best” tournament this weekend.  The tournament was to determine which teams from Arizona were going to be nominated to participate in the high profile AAU Showcase that takes place in Florida each year.  The Showcase is by invitation only and is host to the top AAU teams in the country in 3 divisions; Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors.  The teams that participate in the Showcase are so competitive that they attract over 150 college coaches every year.

 

Our Venom Black won the tournament and will be nominated to participate.  The team will travel to Orlando Florida in July to be part of one of the biggest tournaments in the US.
